More than 1,660 students have been named to the Spring 2017 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Approximately 1,920 students have made the Spring Semester 2017 Dean's List for academic achievement at Coastal Carolina University.

Elizabethtown College Emergent Scholars were honored at a special luncheon Sunday, March 12, 2017. Emergent Scholars have attained at least a 3.75 cumulative grade point average at the end of their first three semesters. Qualified students are full-time and have not previously attended another college or university for full-time study and have earned at least 42 credits in three consecutive semesters as a student at Elizabethtown College or one of its affiliated programs.

Kutztown University has conferred degrees on nearly 700 students during the summer and fall terms. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish their requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honor distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. The following students have been awarded degrees since the summer 2016 announcement. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

Lebanon Valley College recognized more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen fall teams.

And as freshmen volunteers took part in Orientation Day of Service Aug. 19, Reading Mayor Wally Scott proclaimed the day to be "Alvernia University Day" in the city.

Since its establishment in 1999, the Elizabethtown College Honors Program aims to provide students who have excelled both in academic and extracurricular activities with enhanced learning opportunities. Those selected to participate in the program are encouraged to maintain high standards of scholarship, leadership and service worthy of their intellectual promise and demonstrate initiative.
